When I start UCCNC I get the same demo screen, to select which demo controller I have. I pasted the license in the UCCNC folder and verified it is there. The UC300ETH-5LPT is powered up. The green led is bright. the ethernet cable is firmly plugged into the computer and the controller. The cable between Port 1 and the breakout box is firmly connected. What am I missing? Thank you

Do you get a "no valid license key found" message on the software startup?
If yes then it is a license key issue.
If no then it has nothing to do with the license key, but the software does not see your controller and cannot communicate with it.
This is likely because the network is not setup correctly.
Did you setup the network (IP/subnet mask) as described in details in the UC300ETH-5LPT manual?
If so then what does the UCx00 utility tool says when you testing the connection?

Right on. Pages 8 & 9 of the UC300ETH etc User's guide is very clear on setting up the IP Address and subnet mask. Done. And now UCCNC loads perfectly. Thank you so much.
