1. I did a fresh install of the current UCCNC on an old laptop running Windows 10. UCCNC does not recognize the registration file copied into the \UCCNC folder? Im only able to run it in Demo mode. (I´m using the same LAN cable, and have rebooted several times)

Try deleting and re-copying the file.

So.... First install a clean install of current uccnc in a new folder (not overwriting anything in the existing folder.... Enable the plugin, and set up the ports and pins for motion (xyzabc axis ,estop and probe input... Run uccnc on the machine .... Does the probing work fine via the new probing screenshot in uccnc....

Ok, now install an older version of uccnc from the recommended range of the 2017 screenshot website, in another folder, enable and test the plugin (setup the axis and estop and probe ).... Now add a clean install of the 2017 screenset.... Now try again.... Does the probing work or not?

There's only one current release that supports the UCR201, version 1.2049.
There's no reason to try any other versions, as they would be test versions.

Again, CNC Drive has had two different people test with the same setup, and can not duplicate the issue.

Hello Guys,

Before you all kill each other...

1. The issue exists. I know other people (not fom any forum) who have the same problem.
2. I cannot reproduce the issue, but saw on a video and read what it does. The symptoms are the same by everybody. I have received profiles that have the issue.
3. Gerry gave me his screenset for checking. The screenset is well written, it works fine. The issue is NOT Gerry's fault!
4. On this forum and in mail I received the same issues with the XHC-HB04 pendant. Its plugin is very similar to the UCR plugin.

Conclusion. There must be something that I don't see, but I know that it exists. I try to do my best to find it and I'll be back if I have any news. The problem is not forgotten.

Did you setup the same static IP address and subnet mask as per the UC300 hardware manual?

Thank you, Rob, at the moment: no. The only thing you could do is starting to probe with the 2017 screenset, but this is what many users do, 99% without any issues. So, it's 99% that you won't have any problems... This is the worst case in development: the unknown and rare error.

You will not believe this.

A fresh installation from UCCNC, on a fresh Windows installation on a laptop. Running the default screenset.
Enabeling the UCR201 plugin, and the probing fails in the exact same Way as on the PC frist used.

Am I doing something totalt wrong, or Can it be related to my pendant or the receiver ?..

Let me know what you Think, and what you want me to do.

I have read all commented Gerry, have you read what I just wrote? Same symptoms on another PC.

I cannot see how this Can be software related.

I will order a cabelled pendant for testing.
