There appear to be no posts from you in this thread, and looking at the previous posts just before your post the issues were user error

I know I havent commented in this thread, but made my own here

Perhaps it is related to the 2017 screenset, but I doubt it.

Yes, we have looked into the issue you described, but could not reproduce it at all and we do not see what could cause it, so so far we could not do anything about it, because we do not see the issue at all.

Ahh, best to try to bump your own thread as this one appeared sorted.

Like this thread have you checked you do not have two mpg plugins enabled (I think that was the problem here)

I have tried bumping my own thread, but if cncdrive cannot reproduce the error, nothing much can be done other than trashing the expensive pendant, and buy a cheap chinese cabeled one to replace it. Thanks for your effort, trying to help out Robert.

Have you looked at my profiles I sent you?

Am I the only one having this problem?

Can I anything more to help you solve this?

Not me, but 2 of my collegues tried to reproduce it and yes, they used your profile too.
They tried to reproduce it independently. I mean first one of my collegues tried it and later my other collegue tried it.
They have tried for days without any success. The issue did not show up at all.
And one of my collegues also looked through the code and the process to see if he finds any code issues, but again no success, he found no errors.

Today I tried mooving the plug-ins for nonUCR201 to another folder, plugging the USB receiver into another socket. No luck, as soon as I Press the auto zero button, the Z axis mooves at G0 speed towards the tool setter.

I'm using a DELL aio pc, running Windows 10, I will try another PC as a last try before giving up on this. Can I make a simple copy of the UCCNC folder to the replacement PC?

Thanks for trying to help me, I'm not angry with you, just sad I spent so much money on a piece of hardware I cannot use.

Hi Jan,

Yes, you can copy the UCCNC folder. If you run the copied version on a PC where it was never installed then there will be no sound on the reset button, but all other things will work fine. If the PC cannot find the UCR201 driver then use the device manager to intall the driver from the UCCNC folder. I'm sure it's not PC dependent. There must be something what I could not find yet that causes this issue on only some PCs.

Is cncdrive looking into the issues with this plugin.
It is frustrating to have spent quite a lot of Monet on a useless pendant.

PillyWilly, also remembr that the issues you are experiancing seem to be with a combination of the 2017 Screenset AND the pendant, not with UCCNC and the pendant.
The screenset is developed by someone else not CNCdrive...... so its not really cncDrive to look into the issues.... but they are trying to help as there seems to be a few users (3 I thought I saw listed).....

... So its not quite a useless pendant...

Like buying a car and cutting the roof off and then saying the car is flimsey because the body flexes and wobbles.... its not the car manufactures fault but the modifications made subsequent... no?

UCR201 MPG €130+vat+shipping
http://www.shop.cncdrive.com/index.php?productID=935
2017 Screenset $25
http://www.thecncwoodworker.com/2017.html

.... I know which one I'd be giving up on if the default + plasma screenset works with the UCR201 pendant

there is also mention that there may be a 2019 screenset (update free to existing 2017 purchasers) so Gerry will no doubt trying to look at the issues with the 2017 screenset.
Also I don't know if there is just 1 2017 screenset version or have there been itterations and maybe slight changes as UCCNC has developed?? If you REALLY want to use the 2017 screenset, I'd try a complete clean reinstall of uccnc + the 2017 screenset into a new folder and setup your profile from scratch and try again

Also note the comments on the 2017 screenset

Note: The 2017 Screenset will only work with UCCNC, versions 1.2047through 1.2049. New functionality in newer versions of UCCNC WILL NOT work in the 2017 screenset.
** Any features added to UCCNC after version 1.2049 are not supported.
** I do not recommend using the 1.21 versions of UCCNC currently in testing. They should work fine, but some settings may not work correctly. Use at your own risk. An update to the screenset is currently planned, pending release of a new Release version of UCCNC.

Are use using the recommended version or something outside of that recommended window.

I really understand how frustrating a problem can sometimes be, and I'l not trying to be a smart arse / obstructive, but its probably coming across that way, but it sometimes helps if the problem is broken down again and again to find its source.

I haven't got a UC201 pendant (I use a usb WIRED XHC HB04).... I have been tempted to buy a wired XHC LB04B-6 (6 axis) but know I'll have to do a plugin for it....
