- Find and write down the values from the old profile in section [IOsetupsettings]: CurrentHiLopinnumber, CurrentHiLoportnumber and CurrentHiLopinnegate.
- Load the new UCCNC with the old screenset (where the settings are in the I/O settings, but you cannot use them) and start Edit screen on the General settings page.
- While pressing Shift key select the I/O setup page.
- Change the pin, port and active low: click on the field and change labelnumber/boxnumber as follows. Always click Apply settings in the screen editor window after you changed the number.
- Current hi/low pin (labelnumber): old 96, new 2606
- Current hi/low port (labelnumber): old 275, new 2612
- Current hi/low active low (boxnumber): old 60, new 347
- Select File tab in screen editor and press Save screenset.

Now you can set the values that you wrote down and save settings. It should work now.

Hello, I could really use you help here please. I have read your post but I have the same issue I upgraded from 1.2049 to 2.111 and lost my DL445 Laser.
When I upgraded I loaded the existing SC2-420_Laser profile that I used before but it won't trigger the laser.
I looked up the old [IOsetupsettings]: and [CurrentHiLopinnumber = 1], [CurrentHiLoportnumber = false] and [CurrentHiLopinnegate = 1].
Like the OP I cannot change the I/O setting so I tried to do as you have said but I don't understand your edit screen of the General Setttings page as I don't seem to have it. Or maybe I am misunderstanding your wording.
I have attached the screenshots of what I have. Perhaps you could point me in the right direction please.

@◘badgersurfer
You can use my screenset if you want, but it's in German (see attachment).
I've seen a lot of people have problems like you.
Maybe someone should ask Stepcraft for a new UCCNC screnset version.

Oh, I saw the screenset is too big to upload.
If you give me your email address, I'll send it by email

Navigate to Configuration / I/O settings / Hotkeys / 1 to 48. In an empty row, where both numbers are zero, type the following:

Ctrl-E.png

Keycode: 10069 and function: 526. Press Apply settings. Now you can open the editor with Ctrl+E keyboard combination.

As I wrote, you can navigate between the pages with pressing the Shift while clicking with the mouse. When you made the modifications, navigate back to the RUN screen, because when you save the screen the current active page will be the default.

Also check again your settings, because you mixed the values in your first post.

Thank you very much, I have managed to sort it out with your superb help, and also thanks to the other members for trying to help as well.
I am making a video for my own use but also thought about putting it on youtube going through the whole process for others in the same boat. I would of course attribute the process to yourself if you wish me to.

I'm happy to read that you could make it work. Of course, you may make the video and you don't need to mention anybody, just put a link to this topic in the description, so if any viewer wants to read more details then it can be found.
