Er you started this post on Friday 13 may and last post is on 14 may. Check to see if your payment for the software key file has been taken from your bank account. Balaszs is normally pretty quick with replies but I have to add we here in Europe normally like to have the weekend free. British banks only work on working days too. A little patience and i'm sure it'll all come out in the wash!!

Cheers

Ah no you misunderstand me, it's not a moan towards Balaszs, its my damn email providers. I have gone onto the website and put in the request for a response to give them the serial number ( which I have done via private message also). the emails that he has sent me have not come through, on my normal email, I have changed a few settings on the web portal and also made a new order using my gmail account just in case. None of the older emails ever came through, so I was just saying how gutted I am that I can't use it this weekend.

I have every faith that it will be sorted soon ;)

I know the feeling when you've got a new bit of kit and a bit's missing or a battery is flat. Here in Austria you can pretty much forget buying anything technical on a Sunday, food and drinks another matter. Last time I was in Blighty before the covid times Maplin was open in case of emergencys on a Sunday. I hope you get you're license soon. UCCNC is a great bit of software. I bought a cnc machine from Germany over 10 years ago which came with IPROCAM software. The software itself was visually nice but the translated version mixed english and French up and was almost impossible for a beginner to work out. I gave up. I got the UC100 a few years ago and was up and running in an hour. Plain sailing since then.

I looked at Mach3 when I first started and it just wasn't for me, when i got a stepcraft it came with uccnc and it just made sense to me and I have used it ever since in work.
It just does what I want everytime, the probing set up is great and that is constantly used as well as the tls. I have not had a job that didn't run also got a pendant that worked right off the bat when installed and that has been a godsend too.

Now I have a machine here at home it means I can get all the things I want to work on for myself done.
