Same thing tripped me up when I first started using UCCNC and not explained in the users manual. The default CV settings are in units for metric, not imperial. So take the default CV divided by 25.4 gives a good starting point for imperial units users. As Ger said 0.002" is much tighter tolerances than 0.030". :o

The CV control parameters are described in the manual in details. But I understand that who only used mach3/4 earlier may be confused, however mach3/4 are the only CNC control softwares which does not have proper CV path control, every other softwares do.
In the latest few test versions the installer asks if the user wants the CV path control values to be installed for metric or imperial values.
