Hi

I bought a new UC100 dongle from a supplier here in the uk, however I have now been told after buying it that I need to buy the license for UCCNC seperately.

I have gone onto the cncdrive webshop and put in an order for a license but have not heard anything back or had any email etc, how long does it usually take to hear back to give them the serial number of the dongle so as i can buy the license for UCCNC please?

My machine is just sat there doing nothing until I get the software running, the dongle came with Mach3 which I dont use and was told "99% of people who get the dongle use Mach 3 so just use that it doesnt need a license it just works" wierd advice from the reseller.

I use UCCNC in work and want to continue using it here at home .

Check your spam folder and see if it's in there.

I did check there first thing this morning, but thank you for the heads up on that Gerry most appreciated I know some days its the one folder I never check!!

So I am still unclear on this.

Are you supposed to get a UCCNC license when you buy the dongle or is it a seperate purchase on top of the dongle?

If it is seperate the supplier did not notify me of this prior to buying the dongle also the option is not there on the website, they also stated they do not sell the license and i would have to goto CNCDrive's website to buy it.

Or are they Incorrect and the license comes with the dongle?

I am just trying to get some clarity on this so i know for the future ;)

Really enjoying reading through the forum though, some great bits of information and methods on here.

I have resent your order confirmation email a few hours ago, I hope you received it this time.

The UCCNC software is a separate product, it is not part of the UC100.
The UCCNC software works with several motion controllers (UC100, UC300ETH, UC400ETH, AXBB-E) and is licensed per motion controller.
The UC100 works with MAch3, Mach4 and UCCNC softwares and with our motion control API.
The user can decide which software(s) he/she wants to use and can purchase the license key(s) accordingly.

I am on the BT email main email login server and there is no email from you there anywhere nothing in the inbox , junk, spam nothing anywhere.

I am going to email you directly at info@cncdrive.com now from my email account on the providers server.

Edit, i am checking things through now with technical support, I will in the meantime send another order request through using my gmail account

I have put the new order in via the webshop using my gmail account, hopefully you get that and I get the email back. I have also added the info@cncdrive.com email to my trusted email on the setting online.
