Homing issue

Postby rayclark » Mon Feb 10, 2025 4:07 pm

Everything had been working great for the past couple months and then all of a sudden today I am having issues with homing. First the X and Y axis started going in the wrong direction. For whatever reason I had to place a check mark in the DIR. Positive box. Not sure why that would have changed since it had been working without it. The second issue is that it is not triggering the home switches even though the do function correctly. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction as I have checked all the wiring for bad or loose connections. It all seems good. I just don't understand why it would all of a sudden stop working correctly

Thanks for any input

Have you used the diagnostic screen to confirm pressing the limit switch turns the LED on in the software?

Thank you so much for the replies. The problem was indeed one of the limit switches. Got that replaced and all is good now

I suggest using the Diagnostics tab in UCCNC to see if the switches trigger properly when pressed manually. If they don’t, check the input pin assignments in I/O settings.
