If the home switch is the same as the limit switch or they are separate switches but connected to the same input pin then the limit must be disabled while homing, otherwise the limit would trigger and the homing could never finish.
Are you sure your home and limit switch inputs are connected to separate input pins?
I understand if lim and home are the same, but when it is not a lim should always be a lim, right? I cant find any setting for this.
Yes I'm sure, my set up is:
port 1 pin 4 is x lim +/- in series
port 1 pin 5 is y lim +/- in series
port 1 pin 6 is z lim +/- in series
and these have all been made part of the safety circuit on the UB1.
The home switches are
port 1 pin 11, 12 & 13 for x,y,z.
If I trigger a lim during homing nothing happens. After homing they work just fine.
