windows 11. ethernet sleep switch off?

i know nothing about windows 11 ! (strange for me to know nothing about something)

customer of mine is using windows 11 on a laptop
after an hour its putting ethernet to sleep and losing connection.

screen saver is off
power saving switched to never sleep.

anybody know of anything else that can be done on this setup?
ive advised him to run from a mini pc on windows 10.
but id like to see if there is anything known for future reference.... so i know something about everything again!

Find the Device Manager, then go to the ethernet card, and choose properties. Should be a setting to allow the computer to turn it off to save power. Same as in Windows 10.

I have a solution. Use win7.
Zero forced updates.
Zero changes get made behind the scenes.
It stays as it was when installed.
