Uccnc shuts down mid cycle

Postby starclassic2013 » Fri Mar 04, 2022 6:08 am

Good evening,

I am new to CNCing. I am running UCCNC software with a stepcraft M1000 machine. When I execute a gcode file I have been having an issue with uccnc shutting down. I get a memory could not be read error and the program shuts down mid cycle. Any one out there who can help me out? I appreciate all assistance.

Can you post a screenshot of the error, and the specs of your PC?
My first guess would be the PC's graphics card.

Try to update your video card drivers.
And if it has shared video memory then make sure to have at least 512MByte VRAM.

Thanks. It was definitely my graphics card. Computer wasn’t powerful enough. I got a gaming laptop and have fixed the issue thanks for the help.
