UC400ETH and dual BoB's

Postby originalsigns » Mon Jan 17, 2022 9:23 pm

I have a UC400ETH and it's plugged into a "vintage" BoB. My goal is to do some upgrades to my CNC and I need some help. I just purchased a Spindle with a VFD and a Diode Laser. My Breakout Board only has one port for the Spindle, but it's just a ON/OFF Relay and won't control the voltage for the RPMs. Anyway - I think I can get a PWM to go between the Spindle & BoB, Or a PWM to go between the BoB & Laser. I guess my question is, can I run two BOB's from the UC400ETH, that way I can still run my regular Steppers & also have a BoB just for the Laser & Spindle? How would you suggest I set this up? I don't know anything about electronics, so I'll need it really simplified. thank you! Here's a link to my BoB - and a video talking about it. I don't mind getting a new BoB, I just don't know what to get.

You can use two of this BOB's with an UC400ETH. I have also done so with the same BOB's and it runs without problems.
