Help to configure axis limit switch

Postby danny36 » Mon Nov 08, 2021 2:03 pm

Hello,

I'm new to the UCNC software, i purchased recently UC300-ETH and UCSB breakout board and I have a bit of difficulty in configuring the limit switch. I have a normally closed limit swithes for all axis and i didn't understand how to configure right the UCNC software settings for the axis.
I have set pin and port but if I press reset button I can't disable warning, limit switch I suppose.
Can someone help me?

thanks.

With your machine axis off the limit switch check the Diagnostics page to see if the limit input is active or not, if it is active then change the Active low checkbox state for the limit input pin and then Apply settings.
So, the limit virtual LED should be off when the axis is off the limit switch.
If the LED is active when the axis is off the switch then you will be always getting a "limit switch triggered" message when the axis is not on the limit switch.

Hi,

I rebuild the wiring of my proximity sensor and now UCNC works but I have a question, when an axis triggers a sensor how can I move this axis if UCNC don't let me to reset?

If a limit switch is triggered then you can press the "override limits" button next to the reset and jog the axis off the limit switch.
