Add tool description to tool table

As the title states, I'd really like to add a tool description field to my tool table. It doesn't even particularly have to store the tool description to the table itself, it would just be nice if I could add a column to the right of Diameter that would have a description field.

I tried to add a text field with the screen editor, but it doesn't seem to save the text that is typed. So perhaps I am not understanding the screen editor well...

Anyways, what would be an easy way of adding a column in the tool table section of the screen where I can type in a tool description and have it be saved?

Press the Details button on the tool table. I's there since many years.

I hate extra windows and I don't need to show 50 tools at a time. Scrolling also stink on a touch screen.

Open the screen editor and add a textfield.

I did that, but when I restart UCCNC the text fields are always empty.

Start field numbers at 20000 or above. These fields are saved on exit and you can restore them in M99998.

I looked in the UCCNC folder (C://programs/UCCNC or whatever it is) and opened the manual, reviewed screen editing, I didn't get much from the manual. Perhaps I missed a more detailed screen editing PDF in there?
