Probing and Tool Offset

Hi there,

I'm learning my way into the probing dialog. I think it's the "probing.dll" plugin.

I think it should possible to probe the tool Z-offsets using this dialog.
I have a:
1) An automatic tool changer.
2) A fixed probe on my table.
3) A mobile (wireless) probe in ATC position 3, but currently loaded in the spindle.

I'd guess the workflow goes as follows:
Activate "Page 1"
Move the touch probe high enough (Z+ direction) and then to the XY position of the fixed probe.
Then set the P1 such that it is larger than the distance to be travelled into the Z- direction. In my case P1 is set to -50.
Then I press the "Probe Tool" and then "Set As Fixed Probe Pos".
The machine starts probing and either my fixed probe or my mobile probe registers the touch.
The XYZ starting position is now stored in the SETUP tab.

Now the position (A) expressed in Machine Coordinates of the fixed probe with respect to the mobile probe is known.

Next step, pick e.g. tool #1 from the ATC, move to the fixed probe, and touch.
Now the position (B) expressed in Machine Coordinates of the fixed probe with respect to the tool tip is known.

Now to my reasoning the difference B - A, is the tool length, with respect to the wireless mobile probe.
I'd like to save this offset in the "Tool Table" position #1.

Same procedure for my other tools.

So the questions are:
- is my reasoning correct?
- is the above possible with the probing plugin?
