So I have narrowed my problem down to my drivers. Theses problems started after I retired my main 220v plug. I wasn’t paying attention and put one of the 120v legs where the ground goes. As a result when I flipped the switch things were never the same. So the 5 axis break out board was for sure waxed that’s what led me to buy the AXBB.i figured I would upgrade. So I have not been able to get movement since. Today I decided to check for out put from the drivers to the motors and if I metered correctly I’m getting no change in state. I would have suspected the drivers to be messed up too if it weren’t for the fact that they are opto isolated so I guess I figured they would be protected from the direct short. Now I realize that isolation references the inputs from the controller. My main 220 plug powers my powers supplies which in turn power my drivers. So it is possible that I destroyed the drivers too right? My only question is wouldn’t my power supplies have been messed up too? Because all the power supplies are working fine and providing good dc volatage out. I want to test to make certain my drivers are bad , so I need a method by which to do that. I’d also appreciate if someone could tell me whether doing what I did could mess the drivers up. Any and all help is appreciated thank you.
