Home switch same as limit switch

Postby tangent1001 » Sat Sep 07, 2019 3:16 pm

Hi there,

I'm getting my CNCRP Pro4848 set up and I'm wondering how to handle the homing for the X axis which has a single inductive sensor for home and limit+. Currently if I try to home the machine resets when the sensor trips. Does the "override limits" button ignore limit signals? If not what is the best way to handle this configuration?

You have to set the same input pin for the home and limit input. While homing the input will be a home input, all other cases it will be the limit.

If you trip the limit then you can press override limits to enable reset and you can jog off the limit sensor.
