Right way to update

Postby Mark81 » Thu Jul 04, 2019 5:28 pm

I have custom screensets, macros, etc... what is the recommended way to update the software (in the specific case with the development version) ?
Might be an option to install to a separated folder and copy the custom folder to the new installation directory to test it before removing the old version?

As long as you create a new profile (don't use the default profile), you can just install right over the previous version. If you want to go back a version, just install the older version again.

I always make a copy of the UCCNC folder on the C drive. If I need to roll back I just trash the new folder and replace it with the copy.
