Rotary axis ( A axis)

Hi there, just starting to build a rotary axis for my cnc router, just wondering how to calibrate the A axis when it is complete?
any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

multiply the steps/rev of the motor times the reduction ratio. That should get you pretty close.
Then command the rotary to make 10 revolutions (or more), and see if it ends up where it started. If not, start making small adjustments, and test again.
