Chinese A2 Series vfd

Postby mrmacca » Sun Jul 03, 2022 6:58 pm

Hi all,
Installed a new 1.5kw vfd A2 Series from Vevor, I also installed a new Axbb-e due to making other one smoke. Now have set it all up and the spindle will run ok from the vfd panel but as soon as i change the parameter for it to run externally and I use UCCNC software it wont run. Can anyone look at the files attached and see if I did anything wrong or I have missed anything.
Much appreciated
Dave

You have no connection from the 5V0 'POWER OUT' terminal. Your analog won't be working.
That's how the Analog works.
A01 from board goes to vfd analog 0-10v input.
5V0 from board goes to vfd analog ground input.
There is a wiring example on the AXBB-E product page on cncdrive that shows this.

Please post image or pdf of the actual vfd wiring diagram so we can show you how to match it up before you break the board.

Think I see now were I have gone wrong, I have wired the vfd grnd to the 05v in the Port 1 non isolated outputs instead of to the 05v power outputs .

On the diagram:
AXBB-E > AO1 goes to AVI on vfd
AXBB-E > 5V0 (power output) goes to GND on vfd.
That's it.

Nothing gets connected to vfd 10v power pin!.

The wiring diagram you showed is the wrong one
This below looks exactly like the vfd in question.

https://www.vevor.co.uk/variable-freque ... 0276894883

There is a download link to the pdf manual in the list of specifications. It looks fairly detailed so read it.
https://d2v0huudrf11kh.cloudfront.net/v ... 242396.pdf

Looks like AO1 (0-10v) goes to 10v in. And 5VO goes to GND.
Make sure AXBB-E is putting out the correct voltages first using volt reader.

The 10v I was on about is classed as 12v out on this. (which is to power a pot if using manual controls).

Make sure that you don't have the PID control enabled:
