Hi there!

So, i have a Uc300eth-5ltp and would like to control my spindle with it. The Spindle already works fine manually, i just have troubles setting the controller to vfd wiring up. I have a YL-620-A and im using UCCNC.

I hope somebody can help me,

Thanks

Try these 2 diagrams in images:
Both show analog 0-10v connection.
1 shows connection using breakout board output.
1 shows direct connection to any uc300eth port output.

Remember to set pwm to work with analog output 1.
Vfd fwd circuit is a GND loop, no voltage goes through it.
External relay is needed.
The 10v pot connection is not used.

On another note in regard to my images.
If use a relay with +/- out instead of no/com/nc then:
GND will go on the - and fwd will go on the +.
Current flow.

Also.
If you want to use a manual pot for a spindle and/or dro speed manual override you can use analog input 1 & 2 of uc300eth.

First potentioneter
P1 = 12v, power to pot 10v input tab.
P2 = to pot GND tab.
P3 = Ana input 1, to pot wiper tab.

Second potentiometer
P9 = 12v, power to pot 10v input tab.
P10 = to pot GND tab.
P12 = Ana input 2, to pot wiper tab.

Hi again!

I connected everything as stated.

Unfortunately i ran into the next problem configuring the pins in uccnc. I wanted to setup the right pins for the analog output for pwm control, but there is nowhere mentioned which port number the analog port uses. :/

Please help!

The analog uses channel numbers, not port numbers. There's a setting to map the PWM to an analog channel, where you enter the analog channel you are using.

There's a page in uccnc that shows the analog outputs at the bottom.
You set the ana channel for pwm there.

I can't get to it to see which specific page atm.
It does work. I have mine set up on a servo.

You set the analog channel to the pwm in the IO trigger pages.
Then in spindle page you enable spindle pwm but leave the pin numbers blank.
Should get voltage when S command given in midi.

When I get onto machine I'll photo my setup pages.

I somehow cannot get this working.

I tried the wiring diagram with the vi1 connection because the fwd doesnt have an av1.

So i used port 4 pin26 for the 5v out and a gnd.
Tool pin 5 and 6 from the analog port and set the pwm to channel 1 in the i/o input.
Do i have to program something on the vfd too?

Thanks for all the help!
