UC300 0-10v output

Hello,
I own an uc300eth-5lpt and I use a HDBB2 with it.
I was fine with the 0-5V from the hdbb, but I had to change the VFD and it only accepts 0-10V and 20 ma. The vfd is a 2.2 kW yaskawa j1000.
I have seen a post about using the open drain output on the hdbb with 12 volt and a pull-up resistor, but it was not detailed for dummies, so I am not sure how to wire it and if the vfd could take 12v or not.
I have seen that the uc300 has an idc16 port with 0-10v output, but I only found a dsub25 cable for it and i did not see any breakout board for that.
How do I connect the analog output to the vfd?
