Limit Switches - AXBB-E

Hi Guys

New to hobby CNC and I have constructed my router machine and connected to UCCNC software etc successfully. I have movement on my X, Y and Z axis. Pretty good with the mechanical side of things but am struggling with the software/electronics side.

I am guessing my next steps before my first cuts are:

1. get my steps right between motors/software,
2. Install limit switches and homing ??

Has anybody got any wiring diagrams for limit switches to AXBB-E board? How do you setup the software to recognize these switches and then physically offset when they are activated? I have a 3d printer, which sets itself back to a home position whenever one of these switches are hit. Would love to set the CNC to this level of capability.

Appreciate any assistance.

Kind regards
Muzza

There are some wiring examples in the AXBB-E manual.

As for the switches, go to the axis setup pages in UCCNC to configure the pin assignments for the switches. All the home switch settings are on the same pages.

You might also want to read the relevant sections of the UCCNC manual in \UCCNC\Documentation.
