axbbe uccnc noob question

Is there a way to "map" the XY axis on my machine or have it mark up on the spoilboard and save it as a preset or something? I'm only doing double sided operations on wood and dead spot accuracy is crucial.
My work area is 1m x 1m and because of that I don't have any end limiters installed; just a cheap aliexpress z probe.
