wire alarm to axbb-e

Hello to all members,
Sorry for my bad English.

I´d like to know how can i connect the alarm signal of my leadshine AM882 to my controller AXbb-E ?
All other connections are similar to axbb-E manual.

If i wire for example Alarm+ to pin 12 and alarm- to ground will it work or will it typical make smoke signal?
I try to check for continuity on circuit and force error but circuit remains open for both conditions in normal run and in error with red led blinking.
Is this just o "normal" NC or NO contact? Manual of drivers is not that clear.

Connect 24V+ to I2+, I2- to Alarm+ and Alarm- to 24V0.

Should I have any continuity when drive gives an error?

Yes and yes. But it will conduct only in one direction, because it's like a diode. (Search for open collector NPN.)
