not got a clue what to do here.can some one help me connect to the axbb-e board please.

ok got 1 wire from 10 on vfd and 1 wire from 7 when i connect them together they turn on spindle.just cant work out where to put them on the bob now.

AXBB has common ground (0V), so it will not work this way. You should use a 24V relay to short your wires. See the AXBB manual how to connect a relay to O2..O8. (O1 is reserved for charge pump, but it works the same way.)

You can also use an optocoupler+resistor instead of the relay.

Do all vfds have to use a relay to connect to this board then.

It's common to use a relay to start/stop the spindle, regardless of what board is used.
