VFD control with UC300 and mach3

Postby cncloon » Thu Nov 09, 2017 1:28 pm

Hi All,

I stubled upon this forum by accident. I was not aware there was a CNCdrive forum.
Now I'm not 100% sure if the forum is only for UCCNC software or also for CNCdrive hardware but I'll give it a try.

I would like to control my spindel motor via a VFD controller connected to HDBB2 and/or UC300-5LPT-usb using Mach3.
The VFD can be controlled by 0-10Volt
The UC300-5LPT-usb has an analog output which seems capable to control a VFD according to the datasheet:
"The analog outputs can be used to control for example speed of a spindle motor using a VFD with analog input."

Now I guess I can 'simply' connect this analog output to the VFD and setup the VFD accordingly but how should I setup the UC300-Mach3 part?

Looking forward to your help / suggestions.

Thanks
