Hello

I have this setup
UB1 300ETH motion controller.
UCBB break out board (new)
DMM Dyn2 servo drives.

Now I am adding a UCBB breakoutbord for more in and outputs and want to configure the DYN2s index home signal to inputs on the UCBB

I have found I can utilizie the port CN2 on the UCBB - connected to port 4 on the UB1.

The dyn2 manual specifies a 1k ohm resistor in series when the signal is connected to a 5 V source and a photo coupler.

The UCBB has already a 2.2k ohm resistor in series to acknowledge 12-24V signalling

Would the Dyn2 be okay whith this setup:
- 24V source
- no extra resistor

Yes, the UCBB input should trigger without using a resistor and using 5Volts voltage for the input.

Great thank you for the quick reply, then I will just go with 5V source and no additional resistor.
