AXBB-E with Gecko G540 E-Stop Wiring

Postby chaddro » Wed Oct 30, 2024 11:26 pm

Hello,

I bought the AXBB-E to use with my Gecko G540 so I could use ethernet to control the router and your UCCNC software. I am using the DB25 cable to connect directly to the G540 from port 3 on the AXBB-E.

With the G540 you wire your e-stop switch from port 10 of the Geckto through your e-stop and then to the negative rail of the power supply. I am using a 48v power supply to power the G540 and motors.

However, I don't know how I should wire the AXBB-E to recognize the E-Stop when Active. I tried setting the UCCNC software to use port 3 pin 10, but it does not recognized the E-Stop.

Can someone please help me with the correct setup?

Thank you!

Try setting the e-stop input on port 3 pin 15 which is the FAULT pin of the Gecko drive
