AXBB-E on old stepper-controller

Postby rselstad » Mon Dec 20, 2021 6:48 pm

I have a Meccanica Cortini C3 milling machine.
Trying to get steppers controlled with AXBB-E controller.
My RTA PAVIA SBC02 stepper-controllers have the following inputs on low voltage-side:
Step input
Current Off
Synchtonization
Direction
EXT. Current Red.

Anyone with an idea on how (if possible) to connect these to AXBB-E controller?

From the AXBB-E you only connect the Step and the Direction signals.
The other signals I'm not sure what are they.

Are there setup-charts for using HV-cirquit (12-24V) from the AXBB-E?
The suggestion-chart in manual suggest using the 5V+ and 5V0.
I suspect that my stepper-controllers need 12V from motion-controller.
