Proximity sensors.

New build of plasma table controlled by AXBB-E. I have NC NPN inductive proximity switches for homing and need help / advice on their wiring. Should I use screened wire or can I just use any three core wire ?

It's better to use switches instead of proximity sensors on plasma machines, because the ferrous plasma dust can false trigger the proximity sensors.
Shielded wire is ofcourse better and ground the wire on one side only, best to ground them on the control box side.

Hi, thanks for the warning about proximity sensors, I had not thought of the dust problem, I will use switches instead.
