I played around with the parameters found on page 85-86 of the Huanyang GT manual.

Make sure you have your settings on the vfd

P0.00=0
P0.01=2
P0.02=0
P0.03=400
P0.04=400
P0.05=133.33 thats my preference
P0.06=133.33 not sure what I'm supposed to have here?? Someone help on this, I know its initial frequency reference.
P0.07=0
P0.08=0
P0.09=0
P0.10=0
P0.11=10
P0.12=10
P0.13=0 not sure if this is what everyone needs, I suspect my motor wiring is backwards, so that why in the Modbusez (spindle on cw and spindle on ccw might be backwards or opposite than yours, you will find out when you run it you might have to switch those 2)
P0.14=.5
P0.15=1

At one point I did decide to restore all settings to default on the vfd, that changed the settings on the vfd serial communications. Make sure your serial communications are as follows.

PC.00=001
PC.01=3
PC.02=00
PC.03=005
PC.04=0
PC.05=1
PC.06=000

Has anyone got this working with a WJ200?

Communications set as : Baud Rate-9600, 8-N-1 and changed the VFD address to 1

On the Modbusez setup, I set it as :
On/Off address coil 1000
Frequency Address coil 0001
Spindle on CW 0001
Spindle on CCW 0003
Spindle Off 0000

I have tried all the coil/register check boxes.

Can't seem to get it to work.

HI, pardon me to but in you say played with the parameters on page of Huanyang GT
I am hoping you are the chosen one (lol) I have this type of inverter (VFD) and I would like one day to get it to spin. so here is nothing.
Hi, I have an UC400ETH motion controller using UCCNC software need help to setup my spindle trough my vfd I am thinking of choosing MODBUSEZ, I have download ver.15.5 with the documentation I setup the plugin, I am confuse about the amps display, have not done it yet, don’t know how and where it should be located, how do I start and stop the spindle will it stop when emergency button is trigger. Is it all to I have do to be done or do I have more things to do like (meaning entering data in the spindle page) can pwm be use with my motion controller all those questions to me are without answer? I read the UCCNC manual a lot without much help. Is there somewhere a guide step by step for first time peoples, sorry to be so naive I hope you can understand and maybe help me, anyway thank you to read me.
PS: VFD = Huanyang GT-Serie model GT-7R5G-2
Spindle = 3.5 kw 220 v 3 ph 18000 RPM ER-25
UCCNC Version : 1.211

To whoever is interested.
After reading through all the forums, I have managed to get my GT-2r2g-2 huanyang to work with the Modbusez V16, not sure if anyone else has or would like this info, and this is what I have. Let me know if it worked or if you have anything to add. Thanks all for all the knowledge you all have shared.

Andrew, I was finally able to get back to the cnc and tried the setup that you referenced. It worked. Thanks for the tip. I appreciate it.

What values are the MODBUS coil/addresses looking for?

Trying to get a Hitachi SJ P1 VFD going. It doesn't appear to use the same addresses as the WJ.

Figure the ON/OFF coils are just 0/1. What about the frequency address?

I have over 50 pages of Modbus functions to sift through so narrowing it down would help, lol.

I don't get it.

For CW Spindle, I tried FF00 and my Run button the the VFD flashes so I think this is the correct address. The spindle still won't turn on and the message "limit" flashes (don't have a freq/speed address in the Modbus config) on the VFD's screen but I don't see FF00 anywhere in the manual.

What am I missing on understanding the hex addresses?

Fulling DZB280...

I cannot for the life of me find the parameters for the registers. I am NOT able to get the spindle to move, but using MODBUSMaster I am able to see the connection to the VFD is functioning.
