I suggest to make a list of variables that are used in program. For example in the corner of 3D viev window or somewhere else. It is necessary to see what values have variables during program execution.

The plugin is called "Advanced Diagnostics".
You can enable it just like other plugins in the plugins configuration in the general settings.
