Need Plugin for the 'new' XHC pendant - WHB404B

I purchased one of these, hoping that it was compatible with the existing XHC-HB04 plugin. A risk I simply had to try.

Sad to report, it is not compatible. About the only thing the existing plugin does is detect 'receiver connected' as I plug in the wireless dongle.

Now, I'm a retired programmer, and I would love to attempt to write a plugin for the new device. To that end, I am currently attempting to map out the messages sent from this new device by snooping the USB bus. Writing a Plugin, however, is another matter. For that, I would like to get the source code for the existing XHC-HB04 plugin.
USB communications is complex enough already without having to re-invent the wheel in the form of a plugin.

Is this possible? I would be willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement.

Alternatively, perhaps CNCdrive is already working on this, so all I have to do is wait ...

In my first message - I gave an erroneous part number. It is really the WHB04B.

Specifically - I have the WHB04B-4 (for four channels, X Y Z A). Though they also have a six channel model, the WHB04B-6.

+1 for this plugin, I have the WHB04B-6 model since I didn't want to buy the old model that is currently supported, hopefully we can get the new model running too on uccnc.

Me too. I have the WHB04B-6 Wireless. Works for Mach. Not for UCCNC.

Anyone need a good paperweight, I guess we are not getting a plugin for this?
I guess I could always get Mach4 but then I would need to set it up from scratch...

Yes, we will probably not write a plugin for this pendant, but you can ask the manufacturer of the pendant, they could write one.
And I don't think there is a plugin for this pendant for mach4 either. As far as I know this pendant currently works with mach3 only.
