Save button for probing setups

Postby Delco » Thu Jan 14, 2021 11:08 pm

Would it be possible to get a save button rather than having to shut down UCCNC to save all probe settings . My machine stays on for weeks at a time , and if a setting is changed and the machine crashes or we have a power out then any changes I have made are lost. I dont want to have to shutdown , rehome , reset up my coordinates everytime I make a change to a probe setup.

I've noted, but I can't decide which way to go. :)

a) Dedicated save button.
b) Save when the profile is saved.
c) "Instant save" checkbox: if checked, all values are saved when changed.
d) Something that I didn't think of.

I think a dedicated save button, because there are lots of info there and so we do not want to save all those when the user saves the configurations datas.
Also saving on closing, but it is already done that way I think.

OK. Place a new button somewhere with button number 885 and that will save all probe screen settings. I'll place it in the next release on the Probe/Setup page.

Download the plugin from here.
