Minor request, but as I'm starting to use pallets & fixtures for multiple parts I can foresee wanting more than G54-G59 for available work offsets.
I'm not expert in other control systems/software, but the few other machines I've used have additional work offsets abailable - usually G59.1, G59.2, ect. Or G54.1 P1 - P48 (or whatever). Don't know if there's an RS-274 standard.
Older Siemens also has "H" words for fixture offsets, and more for part offsets (maybe if you have a shaky fixture?).
I guess that router/plasma folks don't really use work offsets (or more than one), but I could sure use a few more. Yes, I can locate a known point on a fixture and use a single offset for that fixture with multiple parts, but if I'm running less than a full load I find it easier probe a known point at each of the part locations I'm using and post with the appropriate number of offsets.
