Writing variable to a location outside of the macro possibl?

Postby eMTea » Tue Aug 16, 2022 8:31 pm

Hi!

Is it possible to execute a macro, who (in between other stuff) can store a variable (in this case, a tool number) in a location ouside of the macro?
And then another separate macro can access that variable and reload the previous tool?

Yes, you can either store it in a field on the screen, or in a VAR.

Is there a certain list of VAR's that is not used, or is recommended to use, to not mess up already used VAR's?

I believe that only the probing VARS should not be used.
