Z tool limit negative

hi I would like to implement a new function, which I honestly don't know if anyone has already done it, I would like to set the negative limits of the "Z" axis.
I have an Atc and a Tool Preset, I was thinking of making a macro with the following instructions:
-Go to probe position and measure
- once measured it saves the tool offset in the table
-enter in the box ZLimit- (tool offset + distanceProbePlane)
-save and apply saving

I think this way by itself works but I wanted to know from you if there is a better way to do this implementation
