yes- they work really well. i have 6 in use on different machines for about a year- no problems
i like them as they are fully isolated if run off a seperate power supply

ive left this running all day- at simulated speed- on my machine of 60m/ minute (as fast as it will go)
no steps or position loss after 8 hours repeated program runtime. im running at present with 4000ppr encoder setup.

next step will be to change one axis ( x) on my big hobby machine to torque mode and try it against the existing step/direction setup before refitting one of the other big old machines i have at my workshop :-)
it tuned up way better than i got with mach3 and the galil plugin :-) dead smooth- no jumping around
