If you think you've found a bug post it here.

I built a cnc router at home. I use UCCNC with the UC100 to control it. It works very good. I have an old 10" Logan metal lathe that I converted to cnc with stepper motors. I know UCCNC really doesn't support lathe. But since i like the uccnc software I bought the ETH 300-5lpt and put on lathe. I made some g code programs using the same format as the rad one. That i just have to edit a couple of variable in each and i can rough the od,rough the bore and rough angle both od and id with multiple passes. They all work good. with this one i'm just trying to make one for radius's. I wanted to keep all the editing of the g code to a few lines on top. less chance for mistakes. It does work okay if i enter the end value for z instead of the variable. Just trying to get an explanation of why z will not accept a variable when using g02 or g03 thanks.

The explanation is easy: it is a bug that needs a fix.

Wondering if this is indeed a bug or something I can work through? I am having the same issue - using variables in my G02 endpoints/radius does not work and also causes the code to be invisible in the readout.

If I recall this was fixed, but not sure in which version, should be re-tested to remember this bug was years ago.
And Dezsoe is on holidays till the 8th January, so we can test only after that, but please feel free to post a g-code file which causes problem to you and explain the issue in details please.

OK, this is the file I am struggling with right now. I'd like to call a subroutine in which variables dictate arc dimensions in the xz plane. In the attached gcode the subroutine has one g02 command and soon after a g03 command. When the g03 command is included in the code, the code does not display in uccnc. When I comment out the g03 command, the code displays in uccnc as I'd expect. For some reason the g02 command seems ok, though a few hours ago I could have sworn it was doing the same.

EDIT: The g03 command is a problem when in the main code body as well - makes me think I'm messing up the syntax or something on that command?

Here's two more files that show my issue more distinctly - one uses G02 in the subroutine, the other uses G03. They use the same variables and follow analogous paths but the one with G03 won't display for me. ??

I'm sorry but I have no time now to check your code, because I'm on holidays now, but I have quickly loaded the file also into Mach3 to see if it displays your code and it also does not, so the problem is probably with your code if both softwares do not display it.
I can check this further in the new year only.
