I think you are missing Geotophe from the forum, the french guy having similar problems.

I know this is only related to a few people, perhaps we should moove to a specific thread, made by you for that only purpose, in that way we, and you do not have to look through 3 different (or more) threads to see if any progress have been made?

Yes, that's a good idea to merge these threads together, the only question is how to do that to keep the posts flow still understandable.

Yep. I'm back again! So I was wondering, has this issue simply been left by the wayside in hopes that it will just miraculously fix itself? It's been a standing issue for quite a long time now. I'm beginning to feel as though the customer here is not important enough to give attention to the matter. Trying to resist total frustration bit it's getting difficult to do so. No real answers to any of my requests here.

We can't fix this problem, because we are unable to reproduce it on any of our systems.

The only thing known from what I can tell is there are only issues with the UCR201 plugin enabled. Since Cncdrive can't repeat the issue, you might have to find the root cause.

Have you tried changing the settings within the UCR201 plugin? Maybe disable the F1 button from calling the auto_initialize macro? Or, have F1 call a different button. What about using a different button other than F1.

You could create your own macro and call it. Have it do something other than zeroing and/or moving the z-axis.

Is there anything in common between the users having the issue?

In the development build 1.2110 macros can exit if the macro is already running, anyone tried that (avoid button bounce and recalling the macro)?

I'm only guessing and trying to help brainstorm.

I'm another one with this issue however I'm using HB04 pendant. I'm seeing the erratic behavior using 2017 screenset auto zero function. Sometimes the machine will probe in the positive direction, other times it will slam the cutter at full speed into the probe. Occasionally it works just fine. Completely random behavior.

I am having similar issues but the cause is the same. I didn't try disable the macro, I just pulled the dongle out when it was inactive. As soon as it is out of the mix everything works perfect. I have a brand new set up and everything else works great. I spend hours trying to figure out what was wrong with my probe and or my wiring. I am upset that the pendant is malfunctioning but I am very happy that I finally know what is causing the problem.

You say you can't fix it because you can't reproduce it. I am happy to setup a screen share and let anyone login to my computer. It is very very repeatable on my end.

Has anyone tried the 1.211 build with better results?

Did anyone get a chance to try a different dongle or pendant to see if it was a hardware issues?
