Mach 3 G32

Postby mmcdade » Thu Apr 04, 2019 3:33 pm

Hi,

I'm running Mach3 Turn with a UC300ETH/UB1 board on Win7. I have a 100 line encoder on the spindle (effective 400ppr). When I run G32 threading, I'm getting strange results. No matter what I put in the X field in the G32, the system moves X by 0.1 in the negative direction (0.05 radial). It also doesn't look like the G32 correctly finishes its cycle because the code which follows (G0 x... z...) runs and changes the dro but doesn't move the axes like it should. Does anyone actually have this working on a similar system? Any ideas?

Thanks,

Mark

OK - since this was posted, I've narrowed down the problem. If I call a tool which has an X-offset defined, the problem occurs but if I use T0 or any tool with a zero X offset, G32 works just fine. I can work around this but I'm still interested in solving it.

Thanks,
