2017 Screenset probing issues (broken tools).

I know I´ve written about my issues regarding probing before, but never got it working safely.

My issue is, which so far have broken 3 tools.

1. I click the "Auto Zero" button at the Run screen.
2. here I see three scenarioes. as follows:

1. UCCNC zeroes the tool to my set probe height, at the correct speed, all is good. (1 out af 50 times).
2. UCCNC start zeroing the tool, at the correct feed, hits the probe, retracts the set distance, but then plungches at high speed into the probe, breaking or damaging the tool.
3. UCCNC starts the zeroing at full speed towards the probe, and I usually can hit the emergency stop button.

Please help me Gerry, or someone else. I will upload any file you might want me to, I just needs to get this working, for now I´m zeroing my tools manually, and I´m having no problems regarding noice, missing steps or anything explaining the homing issue.

I´ve given up on the M6.

Just needing a simple reliable vertical probing.

I'm trying to find this issue, but I could never reproduce the problem. Please, upload your profile and write some words about the whole workflow. Does it do the same when you start UCCNC? Do you run any g-code before it happens? If yes, can you upload a g-code that you tried and causes the problem? If the g-code is not public, you can send to support at cncdrive.com. Last week I could run about 200 auto zero, but I had no problem, so I have to find the difference between my and your tests.

Hopefully Dezsoe can find something, as I haven't seen the issue either.
Are you using a pendant? I've only had 2 or 3 others report a similar issue, and both were using pendants.

I´m not running any G code prior to zeroing the Tool, not even starting my VFD, to avoid noise, I simply put in the tool, place the probe beneath the spindle, hit the "Auto zero" button at the Run screen of my 2017 screen, and the above mentione scenarioes occur.

Update:

Today I disabeled the plugin for the UCR201.
After that I could auto zero 10 times in a row, and still having no problems.

Conclusion must be that the plugin will not work with, at least my copy of the 2017 screenset.

I havent tried the default screenset, as I need some extra buttons I have added to the 2017 screenset.
