The UCCNC slices the .ssf file to get the screen for the actual motion controller and a "slice" needs to be between "//REGION xxx" and "//ENDREGION xxx" where these must be at the beginning of the line.

I'm really looking forward to try your UI, but i get an error message when loading the screenset.

Screen build error in: 2046

Compiler error details:
CS1513 in line : 3481 error text: } expected

Hope you can help me out.

I have moved the comment one line more, which should fix the error some of you had.
If you guys encounter an error apart the visual glitches fire github issue, as I'm not crawling this topic all that often.

To those who feel like this should be the default Screenset (if it would actually be complete) .. I feel like UCCNC people are actually smart ..why would they pay for the screenset when they can let us do it for free...

Let's finish this screensaver together.

I've been thinking a bit, and while now might not be the ideal time for me, it might never be.

I feel like the broken state where the "Touch probe screen" and others remain unfixed is hindering people from enjoying this otherwise well-received screenset - at least based on the overall positive reactions.

The only way I can see myself dedicating the necessary time for a final, polished release would be if my development time is covered. I understand that a large upfront cost might not be feasible for everyone. However, by reaching a wider audience, we can make this project more accessible.

Here's the idea: I propose running a Kickstarter campaign. Backers would essentially be deciding whether a few bugs are a fair trade-off for a fully polished UI. If the campaign doesn't reach its goal, that's perfectly alright too.

Before launching this idea - as the campaign does not happen just like that, I wanted to gauge your interest here. My estimate is that at least 100 hours of work are required, which translates to roughly $3,000 USD to complete. This would be the target goal of the Kickstarter. In return, we would all have the finished UI and complete, ensuring the screenset remains free, something that wouldn't be possible without your support.

What do you think? Would this be something you'd consider to support?

I'd be up for funding that kind of thing, maybe 30$ each?
I'd also like to see a vertical screen set option as well if possible

Hi
I'm currently awaiting the delivery of a RatRig cnc kit with a Uccnc AXBB-E controller. Like so many others I'm not a big fan of the default UI and was very interested when I found this thread,,, but now it seems quite dead. Is the project on pause or..?

Not dead really. It just works as is I suppose, The UCCNC does not make that many radical adjustments in order to change the screenset.
If you plan to use it, note that not al of the screens are polished as the first two, like the advanced touch-probing is a bit of a mess still, as that is out of my interest. The main screens works just fine.
If the UCCNC works for you, this screenset will too... plus it is freely modifiable, there is nothing that can stop you to adjust it if need be.
