We've just finished a new machine build and transported the machine to the customer.
Some pictures are attached for those who interested...

Hi Brendon,

Yes, my collegues built the frame. It's a heavy one, something like 2 tons I think. :)
But the machine is big, it has a workspace of 2100x2800x300mm.
I'm attaching a picture of the frame to this post.

very nice. the main frame im using is in excess of 6000kg :-)
they dont make welded frames like that any more! - all my tubing is 12mm wall thickness :-)
any idea of frame cost ? the chinese stuff is extremely lightweight .

This was made of tubes with 6mm wall thickness, so it is not that thick, but it is still not thin.
I just estimated the weight of the frame to be around 2tons, maybe it is more or less. We did not measure it,
but earlier we've made a similar size and construction machine in our old warehouse (we moved since to a new place)
and there was a truck scale built into the ground at the entry of the yard, because it was earlier a grain storage place and they used the scale to measure the grain on the trucks.
That machine weighted 3500kgs when we measured it when it left on the truck, but that was including the gantry and an aluminium T-slot table.
So, I thought the bottom frame should be around 2 tons.

And the Tyssenkrupp's largest storage warehouse in Hungary is close to our place, so we could probably get even 12mm wall tubes.
If you don't know Tyssenkrupp is one of the largest steel and aluminium pipes and plates and profiles etc. manufacturer and distributor in Europe.
So, we are lucky that their warehouse is near us, because we can go there any time and can check what they have. :D

I have no idea about what would be the cost of the frame, but even if I knew I would not post the price online. I mean it is not secret, but also not fully public information.
If you like I can ask my collegue for the price and can email or PM you.

Hurry... the 29th March 2019 is not that far and after that it will probably be more expensive.
