Battwell,

Thank you for your input! Is your CNC using ball screw or rack/pinion?
What is the axis travel for each revolution of you servo?

I will move 10 mm for each rev.

I can’t seem to be able to get more than 1000 rpm from my servos. In the data sheet it says that it has a max rpm of 2800. Could you guess why?

Servo rpm is proportional to voltage. What the rated voltage, and what voltage are you supplying them?

Battwell,

You can see most details of my setup here http://www.forum.cncdrive.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=968

Right now, I supply the servos with there recommended "voltage at peak torque" by setting the maximum PWM in the drive setup using the servoconfigurator software.

The power supply is currently setup to output 92V but it has many other higher options. Could I supply them with 120V or even 140V?

Thanks!
