How much more ram are you getting as I believe that 32 bit operating systems can only use (address) up to 4gb, and that processor can use up to 8gb plus ram is relatively cheap for older computers.

Good to hear you got it sorted

If all he's running is UCCNC on a 32bit OS, there's no need to change the OS to use more than 4Gb of RAM.

True, but I don't know how much ram he bought.

Also don't know how big gcode files he wishes to run.

Guys...
I ordered a few 2gb sticks as I have more of these mobo's. If I am correct Win7-32 will only recognize (manage) a max of 3gb. I will load 2 stick (4gb) on this one to test if it makes a difference. The 2gb sticks were only $17. Makes these a real bargain if they work as they will be under $145 with case, 4gb ram, 60gb SSD. When I first bought them a few years back only options were 1gb, but the latest QVL has been upgraded to some inexpensive options.
Thanks again for the advice,
GC
