Good evening guys and girls
Looking for help from some of the smart people in the hive, I've been running UCCNC for 12/18 months without any problems until last month when we had a power and now I can't connect UCCNC to the VFD. I have reset the and tried every setting under the sun but cannot get them to talk to each other, I can get the VFD to run the spindle via the front panel of VFD but not via UCCNC. The only settings I cannot find are the spindle settings for the port and pins in UCCNC I can only think that is where the problem lies, Does anyone have any spindle settings I can try please.

Which motion controller are you using?
How are you controling the VFD?

hi sorry completely forgot that part, Huanyang 220v 2.2kw using Dans HYPLUGIN and a UC400ETH and UCCNC software which has worked faultless until power cut, all i get now is a message saying VFD not responding do you want to continue.

So, you using a Modbus device, is that working?
I think the only way to debug this is to measure on the RS485 modbus lines.

- What type of VFD are you using?
- What kind of breakout board or motion controller do you have?
- Are you controlling the spindle via analog, PWM, or RS485?

Thanks for you reply, not sure if i have done this right but i seem to be getting a reading of 7v out of modbus, does that sound about right.
