Help with Screenset_2017

Postby Gene8522 » Fri Apr 12, 2019 8:48 pm

I had to replace my PC, I finally got .net Framework 3.5 to install and was able to get motion controller UC300ETH_network setup.
I am able to run the UCCNC and control of the steppers, but when I start the "Profile" 2017_Screenset I lose control of the stepper motors. I noticed that under "System Information" the "License To' is blank. What do I need to do to get 2017_Screenset license back? Before my old PC quite I made a back-up of 2017_screenset to an USB, running the USB does install all of the stepper motor settings but there is no control of the motors. Also things like the E-Stop and Probe do not work.
If I look at the USB I see a file called "UCCNClicense_ text Document".
I've lost control of my spindle motor what plugin should i look for to get the spindle back?
Thanks in advance for the help..................

The license should just work, as long as it's in the UCCNC\ folder. My license file includes the serial number. UCCNClicense.txt is not your license file.
How did you copy the screen?
Did you copy the profile, the macro folder, and the bitmap folder?

Sounds like maybe some things are in the wrong folders?

I was trying to configure the "COM Port" to control the Huanyang VFD for the spindle. It told me to restart UCCNC to save the settings for the COM Port.
When UCCNC starts I get this pop-up and UCCNC stops running. Any ideas on how to fix it.

What version of UCCNC, and what version of the HY plugin?

You said you were using a "2017 profile", but the error says you are using the default profile.

You appear to have a lot of different issues going on.

UCCNC has been starting in UCCNC without the screenset starting, so I have been trying to get UCCNC set up to run and work on the 2017_screenset late.
that's why it shows "default profile"
The HYPLUGIN version is 12
The screenset is version 1.2048

Sounds like you edited the .pro file and made a syntax error.
My recommendation would be to install UCCNC, then run the 2017 Screenset installer, and follow the instructions in the screenset manual.

Without sitting at your PC, it's hard to know what exactly you've done, and what changes you've made.

I think you are right........... Go back and install everything.
I don't know if you saw. But I have a back-up of UCCNC on a USB thumb drive. I can get UCCNC
to run but when I change to the screenset profile the motors on the CNC will not run. E-Stop doesn't work and the probe light shows active.
I've never gotten the HY plugin to work.

Hi Gerry,
Tomorrow I'm going to re-install UCCNC & 2017 Screenset.
I need to find out where and how to put the license key in when I install everything.

The UCCNC license just goes into the UCCNC folder.

Hi Gerry,
Well, good news.
I installed UCCNC & 2017-Screenset successfully. With only two small problems to fix.
The Dro for the RPM is stuck on a blank reading and the slider for the RPM is stuck on 8000 and will not let me increase the RPM
of the spindle. Where should I look for a fix to these problems?
