Scale Issue

Hi guys,
Im new to using a CNC machine so please excuse me if this is a stupid question.
I have set up a new PC with Fusion 360 and UCCNC. I have the UCCNC post processor installed and it drives my machine when I use the arrow keys. However when I load G Code into UCCNC after creating the tool paths from a imperial scale model in Fusion, the image looks correct in the geometry window, but when I run the program the router head moves to the correct point on the material, but then seems to be trying to route a tiny component. Its certainly not routing the component I designed in Fusion.
It looks like I have a scale or conversion issue somewhere, but I don't know where to look. Any ideas?
Many thanks, Pete

If the machine is configured in metric units, then your g-code needs to be in metric units as well.

Hi Gerry,
I have modelled the part in inches and out put the Gcode in inches. I think that I need to somehow scale UCCNC so that the steps match an inch?
Not sure if this is true though?
Cheers
Pete

If UCCNC is configured in mm's, you'll need to change it to inches, or create a separate profile for inches.
You can't mix inches and mm's in UCCNC.

If you are using the latest test version of UCCNC, you can set axis scaling as an alternative, but your feedrates will likely be too slow?
